Yes, we are coming together to celebrate 40 years in two nights of fun Lindblom Class of ‘71 style. The hotel has been booked and we are finalizing the menu. The following information responds to a number of questions received regarding the reunion.
Q. Why did the committee select this location?
A. A major search was conducted before selecting the Hilton Garden Inn which suited the needs of the reunion. It’s a lovely hotel with great amenities, accessible and not far from greater Chicagoland.
Q. Why is the cost so expensive?
A. As you are aware hotel cost along with everything in the economy has increased across the board for all social events, in addition to our smaller class size than some reunions, and the number of people we have not been able to locate have factored into the cost of reunion.
Q. What are the activities planned for the reunion weekend?
A. Friday night will be our meet and greet sock hop party where as old friends we’ll get together to have fun paying tribute to Lindblom’s room 317 with music, games and memorabilia.
Saturday day activities include an anticipated off site trip and a golf outing. Saturday night’s fantastic reunion dance includes a sit down dinner, a live band and other surprises.
Sunday morning an optional Prayer Breakfast will culminate the weekend activities.
Q. I only want to attend one night of the reunion. How much will that cost?
A. The cost to attend the social is $40.00 for is for Friday only. Saturday night attendance is $150.00.
Q. What forms of payments will be accepted at the door?
A. Unfortunately, cash payments are the only form of payment accepted at the door.
